Romano x reader || Mia Bella Dea Part 2

(Name) was frantic.  She’d never been faced with a situation like this.  And it wasn’t just about her.  No, no, no.  She couldn’t just keep this problem to herself.  She could try, but her efforts would be unsuccessful.  (Name) was pacing in her room, waiting to hear Lovino’s footsteps coming up the stairs and into her room.  Her head was spinning at a rapid pace.  She thought she might pass out.

“Calm down, (Name).” she told herself.  “Practice telling him.” Taking a deep breath, (Name) turned around for the thousandth time and walked to width of her room.  “Lovino, look, we need to talk.” She shook her head, “That sounds absolutely terrible.”

“Lovi- no he hates that.” She sighed, “Lovino, I need to tell you something, now your probably not going to like it, but I’m pregnant.”

(Name) groaned and walked over to her bed, flopping down face first.  “I can’t do this!” she yelled into her pillow, “I can’t, I can’t, I won’t, I won’t!  Not by myself!”

“You’re not by yourself ragazza.”

(Name) turned her head towards the voice and saw Lovino standing over her bed.  Her grip on her pillow tightened as tears began to fill her eyes.  “We’re only 16, Lovino.” She said in a shaky voice.  “I can’t expect you to help me with this.”

“Help you with what, bella?”

Lovino sat down on her bed, messing up his hair with just a few shakes of his hand.  Lord he as handsome.  Especially in his teen- boyish way.  With the little bit of stubble he wore like a trophy.  It was so microscopic that she’d only noticed it when he’d fallen asleep with her next to him just a few weeks prior.  He could have any girl he wanted. There was no doubt in her mind he’d go running after them once she told him.

(Name) sat up and sniffled a bit.  “Lovino, I… I’m pregnant.”

She was afraid to look at him.  Afraid to see his reaction.  She wished she could just be erased from existence in that moment so she could never have to see the rejection she was sure she was about to receive.  After moments of silence and her anticipation making her nauseous (or maybe it was just morning sickness), she looked up at him.  His eyes were widened and his eyebrows knit together.

“And you think that I wouldn’t stay with you?”

“Well…” she ran a hand through her hair, “It’s a big responsibility, and I don’t expect you to take it on, especially with me.”

Lovino reached out and took her in his arms, holding her tightly.  He planted a kiss on her forehead.  “I love you, (Name).” Lovino said, “And I’m going to do everything I an to take care of you and our baby.”

“I love you too, Lovino.” She said, pecking his lips
