DTK X OC Death the Kid's Destiny Chapter 6

Chapter 6: The School Party Part 1

A loud and eager banging noise shook the front door, making Destiny almost jump out of her skin.  It was 6 PM on a Thursday.  Time that she usually spent sitting comfortably on her ass, eating food, and crying out her feelings (if she had any).  So what the hell was someone doing here?  oh, it was probably Soul coming to visit BlackStar.  Destiny sighed and got up, opening the door.  Liz, Patty, and Maka, all smiled on the doorstep.  

"Uh... hey guys." Destiny said, stepping out of the way, allowing them inside, "Wh- what's up?"

"We're taking you out shopping.  After all, the dance is tomorrow, and you wanna look good for your date." Liz said, flipping a strand of hair behind her shoulder.  Patty was going down all the halls in the house, calling Tsubaki.

"Um, I don't have a date..." a light pink layer of blush tinted her cheeks

"Oh please," Maka laughed, "When you and Kid aren't flirting with each other, the two of you are completely gawking at each other when the other person isn't looking.  So if it's not a date now, it will be tomorrow."

"Yay, we're all here!  Let's go!" Patty laughed, grabbing Destiny's hand and dragging her out of the house

[~*~ AT THE DANCE~*~]

When she, Tsubaki, and BlackStar got to the dance, Destiny made another stupid excuse and ran off instead of going with them to the party.  She leaned on the wall of the side of the school.  Why was she flipping out?  It was just a stupid dance for god's sake.  Destiny sighed and looked down at herself.  She had a black cocktail dress with  peacock feathers around the waist (suzhouepairs.en.made-in-china.…) with simple black heeled shoes.  Liz had straightened Destiny's usually wavy, and uncontrollable, hair.  She knew she looked good, so why was she nervous?  She jumped when she heard someone cough next to her.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." a fairly handsome blonde haired boy said.  Back when Destiny lived with one of her friends, they both had a thing for guys with the grunge look and a few piercings.  If she'd seen him two years before, she would have dropped dead.

"No it's ok," she said, "I'm just a little jumpy right now, that's all."

"Yeah same.  My name's Hiro."

"Destiny.  You putting off going inside too?" he laughed

"Yep, I'm not the most... liked person in the school." he muttered. Destiny laughed a little

"Are you kidding me, I'm the new girl!" Hiro's eyes widened, slightly frightened

"Are you BlackStar' cousin?" Destiny nodded, "Oh..."

"What?"

"Well... he doesn't like me..." Destiny stood up straight and gave him a dead serious look

"Does he beat you up?" She took his silence as a yes, "Want me to kick his ass?" It was obvious he was trying to hide a smile, "Come on." She grabbed his hand and stomped off to the school

"So since you're new... you don't have a partner do you?" he asked, his embarrassment clear in his voice

"Nope, I'm a weapon."

"Meister." Destiny walked behind her cousin and tapped him on the shoulder

"Oh there you are, Kid was looking for you." He said, his jacket hanging far off his shoulder.  She tried not to blush

"Ok I'll catch up with him in a sec." Destiny grabbed Hiro by the collar of his jacket, "You know Hiro, right?"

"Uh... yea, why?" She let go of his jacket and stepped closer to her cousin, glaring down at him, with her new height

"I heard that you like to beat him up." she grabbed his shirt, lifting him off his feet.  Everyone, but BlackStar, stifled laughs, "He's a nice guy, leave him alone, because me might end up being my partner." She set him back down on his feet, shooting a wink at Hiro, "I'm gunna go find Kid." As she walked, shs gave her cousin a strong punch on the stomach

"DESTINY!" Patty screamed, running over and crushing her in a tackle hug, "Oh my god you're so super pretty!" She giggled

"Patty, i look the same as when i tried it on in the store." Destiny blushed.  She saw Kid walking over, looking really sexy wearing all white and his half smile

"Hello Destiny." He said. Liz pulled Patty off of Destiny as he got closer to her.

"Hi Kid." She said quietly

"You look beautiful." His golden eyes looked at her lovingly, "Would you like to dance?" He held his hand out to her

"O-ok.." she said, taking it and letting him lead her away.

But of course, the party was interrupted.
